Abstract
The present study aims to understand the role of police intelligence, especially focused on efficient management of data and information. Therefore, the issue of political corruption was highlighted and how police intelligence activity can help in its prevention. Finally, the work makes a brief explanation about the impact of corruption in society and democracy and its reflections in the areas of police intelligence.
