Analisando o Discurso Policial na Abordagem de Suspeitos na Via Pública: estudo de caso

Abstract
A presente pesquisa trata de questões linguístico-discursivas, na abordagem policial de suspeitos na via pública. Chamo a atenção para o uso da linguagem na Justiça e levanto algumas questões referentes às características do discurso utilizadas pelo policial na abordagem dos suspeitos nas vias públicas. Quais são as especificidades do discurso dos policiais, neste tipo de interação? A pesquisa tem por objetivo analisar o impacto do discurso policial na abordagem de suspeitos, discutir sua relevância para o sucesso deste tipo de interação, e demonstrar os impasses que são constitutivos do trabalho do policial, levando em conta as condições de produção desse discurso, e as variáveis sociolinguísticas nele inscritas. O corpus desta pesquisa foi constituído por nove vídeos de abordagens policiais na Via Pública. Neles, observamos características linguístico-discursivas usadas pelo policial e pelo suspeito para a apuração de uma infração e sua autoria. Desta fase da pesquisa, concluiu-se, que há necessidade de se trazer conceitos da Linguística Forense para os cursos de Formação Policial, de forma que a Academia Militar possa “armar” os policiais com competências linguísticas que os auxiliem na prestação de um trabalho qualitativo e eficaz.
