Orientación emprendedora en la Policía Federal – estímulos y restricciones a partir de las características organizacionales

Resumen
Los organismos policiales han avanzado en la incorporación de procedimientos más eficientes con el fin de mejorar los servicios prestados. En este sentido, cobra relevancia el estudio de la orientación emprendedora y la identificación de características organizacionales que actúan como inductoras o inhibidoras de este comportamiento. La orientación empresarial ha sido poco estudiada en las organizaciones policiales. En ese sentido, el presente trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar la relación entre las características presentes en la organización y la orientación emprendedora de los servidores públicos. Para lograr el objetivo propuesto, se recolectó información primaria de 321 delegados de la Policía Federal a través de un cuestionario estructurado. Los datos se analizaron con análisis factorial exploratorio y análisis de regresión múltiple. Los resultados encontrados muestran la relevancia del liderazgo para la proactividad y para la propensión a asumir riesgos por parte de los delegados. Además, se observó que la provisión de capacitación y capacitación se asoció con la propensión al riesgo, pero no con la proactividad. Contrariamente a lo esperado, la presencia de normas y reglas no resultó ser un obstáculo para la orientación empresarial, sino un estímulo para el riesgo.
