Abstract

This article analyzes the legal issues of how the public security intelligence activity develops in the country in relation to the performance of the constitutional role of the Military Police. The work will pass on eminently theoretical questions at first and will advance in a pragmatic way to the study of the incidence of public security intelligence activity in the operational efforts carried out by the Military Police. The scope is to demonstrate whether the intelligence activity, in particular, the public security intelligence activity, manages to meet the imperatives of the Military Police institution in the face of the constitutional mandates for the preservation of public order and ostensive police. The proposed study will go in the specific case, from the experiences produced and carried out in the State of Santa Catarina to verify the understanding of the theme from the aspect of legal and doctrinal subsumption. When investigating the extent of the constitutional attributions of the Military Police, one will seek to understand the role of the Public Ministry in this area. Ultimately, verify what the Judiciary's interpretation of the theme is.

She holds a degree in Law from the Centro Universitário do Brasil (2008) and a degree in the Training Course for Military Police Officers of the State of Santa Catarina (2010). She has experience in the field of Law, with an emphasis on Public Law. Member of the research group "Constitutionalism, Cooperation and Internationalization" - CONSTINTER, (certified with CNPq by FURB).

He is a member of the faculty of the Higher Schools of Officers and Squares (ESFO and ESFAP) of the Trindade Military Police Academy (APMT).
