Abstract

O presente editorial da Revista Brasileira de Ciências Policiais (RBCP) destaca o papel da ciência policial como parte um mundo líquido, na feliz expressão de Bauman, que se expressa na arquitetura das cidades, na transformação do papel do Estado, em relações sociais marcadas pela busca constante por mais segurança, em esforço pela efetividade da democracia. Ressalta, assim, que, pela sua natureza, enquanto fruto de estudos acumulados, essa, como outras ciências, é um construto histórico e desterritorializado.

Author Biography

Stenio Santos Sousa, Polícia Federal / Delegado de Polícia Federal e Professor da Escola Superior de Polícia

Mestre em Ciências Policiais, Criminologia e Investigação Criminal (2013-2015), pelo Instituto Superior de Ciências Policiais e Segurança Interna (Lisboa, Portugal), Pós-Graduação (lato sensu) em Ciências Policiais pelo ISCPSI (2013-2014), Pós-Graduação (lato sensu) em Ciências Criminais pela UNAMA/UVB/LFG (2005-2007), Graduação em Direito pela Universidade Federal do Maranhão (1997-2002). Foi Chefe do Grupo Repressão a Crimes Cibernéticos da Superintendência Regional da Polícia Federal no Distrito Federal (2012-2018).

Atualmente é professor e tutor EaD da Academia Nacional de Polícia (2007), Delegado de Polícia Federal e Chefe do Serviço de Pesquisa e Publicações da Coordenação Escola Superior de Polícia. . Tem experiência nas áreas de Direito Penal, Processual Penal, Direitos Humanos e Investigação de Crimes Cibernéticos.
