Abstract
para uma investigação criminal científica e juridicamente ponderada, considerando suas particularidades (a respeito da verdade e do método) e a natureza do seu objeto (o crime), sob as diversas perspectivas (fática, normativa e valorativa), após considerações sobre as diversas ciências que têm o crime como objeto de pesquisa sob diversos aspectos (criminologia, política criminal e direito penal), concluindo com uma definição que pretende ser um ponto de partida para o aprofundamento de futuros estudos sobre o tema. Esse trabalho, tal como aqui apresentado, consiste no capítulo-síntese de uma pesquisa maior, desenvolvida em programa da Coordenação de Altos Estudos de Segurança Pública, da Academia Nacional de Polícia (Federal), na qual se discutem, como disciplina de formação e especialização policial, os pressupostos fundamentais e elementos de uma Teoria da Investigação Criminal, sob uma perspectiva jurídico-científica.
