Complexidades e Paradoxos Sistémicos das Crises e da Segurança: Uma Perspetiva Europeia
Main Article Content
Abstract
In the face of globalization, the networked world, the ongoing technological revolution, geopolitical conflicts, geo-economic confrontations, and the destruction of ecosystems, crises are increasingly severe and far-reaching on a global scale. We will reflect on the different concepts and typologies of crisis, the national crisis management systems and subsystems, and on the need to consolidate a holistic approach that provides more resilience and coherence in crisis prevention and response. In the context of the recent invasion of Ukraine, we will explore the uncertainties, risks, and possible geopolitical and economic repercussions of complex crises in the contemporary age.
