Abstract
Este artigo explora a utilização da composição de imagem como ferramenta auxiliar na identificação de um suspeito de crime, enfatizando a análise de vídeos, o aprimoramento e a construção de imagens faciais, e a colaboração de profissionais de papiloscopia
especializados em arte forense. A técnica possibilitou a montagem da imagem facial de um suspeito por meio da análise minuciosa de imagens de vídeo, contribuindo significativamente para a detenção do autor de um crime violento. O estudo destaca a importância da obtenção e interpretação de vestígios na investigação criminal, demonstrando a eficácia da composição de imagem na resolução de casos com evidências visuais limitadas. Recomenda-se o desenvolvimento de novos estudos em composição facial para apoiar investigações criminais.
